This class structure is as follows 1) I will give several examples of how to do an algebra problem using the white board that I have. We will start with solving addition and subtraction problems and then move into multiplication and division 2) Students will be given 4 problems to solve on their own. I will then have students explain to me step by step of how they solved the problem. I will write step by step on the white board as they tell me. 3) We will then move on to word problems where students will have to use the information given to create a algebraic equation and solve the problem. ( I will give examples and teach first, and then students will try on their own)
