Into the Woods Watercolor Painting Class
Class Experience
We will explore the beauty of watercolor while playing with light and shadow in these fall trees. Students will learn to blend colors creating light lights and dark darks. Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to use the brushes to create texture with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. Trained in watercolor, acrylics and oils, I have been painting, and teaching art for over twenty years. I am always inspired by my students individuality and creativity.
1 file available upon enrollmentSupply List 8 inch by 10 inch watercolor paper, bowl or water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, palette paper (or a watercolor tray or a plastic plate works), Watercolor paint tubes, not the trays. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
