Class Experience

I am an elementary school teacher, summer camp leader and youth director, passionate about introducing children to the world of drama and engaging their natural creativity through art.
Learners will need an egg carton, orange paint, yellow paint, white paint, brown paint, a paintbrush, green pom poms, googly eyes, stickers, liquid glue, tape, safety scissors, three paper plates, markers, pipe cleaners, a fork, various natural materials such as leaves and twigs, a small open box such as a shoebox, construction paper in various colours including black and yellow, crayons, a marble, popsicle sticks, coffee filters, a spray bottle, water, a black stamp pad, shaving cream, a bowl, a mixing spoon, cotton balls, pom poms, a paper bag, a small doily, newspaper strips, flour, salt, water, a cup, and modelling clay.
5 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may wish to supervise some art activities to ensure mess is kept to a minimum. They may also wish to supervise the use of safety scissors.
Stories will be taken from royalty-free websites, made up in camp, or written as original pieces for camp. Exact stories will be chosen closer to camp, to match the number of learners.
