Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
I am an early childhood educator and have been working in the field for over seven years. I have a great passion for working with children and helping them to discover and expand their curiosities and interests. I believe that you are never too young, or old for that matter, to discover a passion for learning!
I am excited to share my love for literature and the written word with students, through discussion we will discover the wonders of literary work throughout the ages!
I am also excited to offer circle times for younger students that will involve interactive songs, games and lots of fun!
My philosophy in teaching is child- led, immersive and ever evolving.
I would like to share this quote that is a wonderful representation of my philosophy
“The principle goal of education in schools should be creating (people) who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done” - Jean Piaget
