In this ongoing 30 minute private class, students will learn how to make sure that their personality, skills and strengths are presented to their best advantage for school interviews.
Class experience
More than just a practice interview, this one student class provides strategy, practice and is a real confidence booster! Students will learn key public speaking tips and how to view the interview from the interviewer's point of view: What are they looking for? What needs to happen for the interviewer to step back and say "Wow, that was a great interview!" We will also look at the school websites of the schools' the learner is applying to, and will go over them in detail so that the...
Students will learn basic and advanced interview skills, as well as a clear idea of what is necessary to have a successful interview. They will learn to think about what the interviewer is looking for, and how to put forth their personality, skills and interests in the best possible light. Students will also learn how to look critically at a school's public materials to dissect how each school is presenting itself so they can think about how they can meet the school's needs.
I am an attorney who has been teaching adults, teens and children public speaking skills for the past 25 years. I have served on the board of several educational institutions and have prepped many students to interview for schools throughout America.
We will look at a desired school's website, as well as any other applicable material that the school provides on the internet.
