Students can learn in an informal setting.

In this ongoing class, Teacher Elaine will select a weekly topic.    

Our weekly topics will include holidays, celebrations, customs, hobbies, sports, food, family, neighborhoods, and travel.  Classes will include handouts, internet sources, slides, and a few props. Students will build their knowledge, speaking confidence, enunciation, and vocabulary usage.   Teacher Elaine is an experienced ESL teacher with TESOL, OPIC, and TOEIC training.  She will monitor the conversations and give feedback.  

WHAT TO EXPECT(tentative):
4- minutes - Icebreaker / Introductions
2-3 minutes - Listen & learn topic-related vocabulary words
1-2 minutes -  Repeat Teacher-led sentence patterns
1-3 minutes - Practice sentence pattern with a partner
4-6 minutes - Work on dialogue with a partner
7 minutes - Freetalk

I have been an ESL teacher online and abroad.  I have worked for YBM, Aeon, Speakcare, BCM-Uphone, Mirae,  iTutor, and VIPKID.  While living abroad, I participated in groups and clubs for cultural exchange and had the opportunity to socialize.  I have experience teaching free talk for private, semi-private, and group classes.  In addition, I have helped prepare students for OPIC and many other tests.  I am available for private one-on-one lessons as well as private group lessons.
