Description
Class Experience
Lessons will be taught using timed typing tests and games to increase learner proficiency. Homework assignments will be to practice the work done in class. Learners progress will be evaluated by typing exercises and completed assignments, and class will culminate with a typing test to show their accomplishment. I am offering this class because I learned typing as a part of my Vocational Technichal high school experience and appreciate the value of accuracy and speed that my skills have enabled. I feel that typing is a lost art. My experience with teaching practical skills make me a good fit for teaching this class and also I hold an MBA in business administration/accounting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
