Description
Class Experience
Our overall goal During these classes is to build up more stamina, focus on complicating basic steps, and how to combine steps to make a dance routine to perform in our Mini Recital. In addition we will practice, review, learn and master the following steps: Drawbacks, alternating drawbacks, pull backs single's and doubles, waltz clog, flap heels, shuffles, toe taps, paddle diddles, heel digs, and cramp rolls, double cramp rolls, maxi-fours, buffalo's and more.
I have been teaching dance for the past 3 years, and I have taught beginner/intermediate level dance in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical. In addition, I have choreographed many middle school productions. I also will have a minor in dance, Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology (graduating December 2020).
No Homework, but I encourage all students to keep practicing and Dancing outside of the class.
Please make sure your child has sufficient dance space, proper foot ware (choice of ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes or barefoot/socks). In addition, I encourage all students to have a water bottle near by and that the student is warmed up before class to avoid injury’s. Parental supervision is strongly encourage to help your dancer assure there safety and spacial awareness.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will be assessing each student visually by giving corrections or praise when necessary.

Students will be participating in a physical fitness/movement activities though out the class. Please be aware that your child can end up injuring themselves.
