Students will strengthen their proficiency with spreadsheets by gaining a greater comprehension of functions and formulas in spreadsheets. 

I have been a business owner for multiple years. I use spreadsheets on a daily basis, and have created multiple sheets for various purposes. I’ve taught multiple people (employees and students) how to confidently use spreadsheets to assist them in their jobs and daily lives. 

Homework Offered
Each class will have practice files available for the focus on that day’s class. Students should use these files to practice the skills that were demonstrated.  They will be provided in multiple formats to ease the transition between various platforms. 

Students will also be working on a project that will demonstrate the skills they are learning in class. They may choose their own project, based on an area of interest, or can choose from a list of suggestions. 
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be completing a project that will use most, if not all, of the skills learned in this class.  For those comfortable sharing in class, we will look at each other’s end projects to learn from each other’s creative thinking and problem solving. For those uncomfortable with group sharing, they can submit their project privately to myself for personalized feedback.

Those that complete the project will receive a certificate of completion.
