In this ongoing conversational Spanish class, intermediate learners will continue to build their skills with conversational Spanish via immersion Spanish free talk in small groups. We will have conversations about our week, our interests, & hobbies. Learners are welcome to  invite their peluche (plushie/stuffie) friends to join as well.
In this fun class, learning a language is centered around our sharing our interests...

This class is taught in English.

I am an experienced educator who has taught at nearly every level of instruction from pre-k to college level.  My very first job out of high school was as a bilingual instructional aide for the Head Start program in my city. I currently teach undergraduate students who are preparing to become K-12 teachers. 
I am a student-centered educator who listens and aims to allow students to feel heard and seen in the classroom. I want all of my students to feel empowered and engaged in every lesson. I believe that students bring important and valuable contributions to the classroom. I aim to empower learner voices in a way that they become confident critical thinkers who can pose questions and engage with their peers in a collaborative learning process. I treat my students with care, kindness and listen with attention because I value the student-teacher, teacher-student relationship.

Learners can bring their plushie friends to class if they would like.
