Class Experience

Intermediate Level
In this class, we will practice conjugating verbs, speaking in Spanish, and writing in Spanish. We will learn new verbs in Spanish and how to use them in complete sentences to express our thoughts in Spanish. We will focus on a grammar topic each week as we work to increase fluency in Spanish. Every few weeks, we will have a small project to put what we are learning to use. These projects are listed below in the weekly schedule provided along with the lessons.

As I teach the class, I will use a combination of English and Spanish with the students to teach and ask questions. Students will be provided with a handout to print or students can choose to use a blank piece of paper and pencil to write down notes and examples from the lesson. Join the class any week as new topics will be discussed according to the schedule below and the topics will cycle through again after the 26 weeks!

Pre-Requisites
Learners should have a strong foundation of vocabulary in Spanish. Learners may have experience with some verbs, which we will strengthen in our class through conjugation practice.
Supply List
Students will be provided with a handout prior to class. This can be printed out and used during the lesson or students can use a blank piece of paper. Every few weeks, we will have a small project to put what we are learning to use. Students may want to use crayons, colored pencils, or markers to add detail to their projects. These materials are not required, but will allow the students to be more creative as they create different projects.
