Class Experience

The students will be learning about different shading techniques.  I will be demonstrating the different techniques on geometric shapes using a ruler, paper, pencils, stumps and erasers. Each class will be 55 minutes long, and we will be discussing cross hatching, hatching, stumping and stippling.

Supply List
Students will need a 9 x 12" piece of white construction or drawing paper, soft graphite pencils ( use General's Layout Pencil Extra black No. 555), eraser, stump, and a ruler.  A no. #2 pencil will work but is not ideal. The pencils are available from Amazon or Joann's, Michael's, or Hobby Lobby.  Stumps or tortillions are also available on Amazon or the stores listed above.
