We have split what was formerly "Intermediate Piano Course 2" into two parts. "Intermediate Piano Course 2A" and "Intermediate Piano Course 2B". This is a much-needed update to the Piano curriculum that will allow more students to feel comfortable as they continue into higher levels. Currently, all other levels will remain as a single class. I apologize for any confusion this may cause! After completing Intermediate Piano Course 2A, learners should feel confident continuing into the harder pieces found in the middle of the method book. We should feel comfortable playing syncopated rhythms between both hands with pieces like "Blow the Man Down!". We will learn the 2nd Hanon exercise, which is a favorite of mine as well as lovely pieces like "Cafe Vienna" and "Lullaby". I hope that you enjoy this class!

Lesson 2:
Hanon #2
We go back to Page 79 and learn the 2nd Hanon exercise to strengthen our fingers 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Lone Star Waltz
We will learn how to move 6ths around the piano by playing this country ballad 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
7ths and Octaves
We will play the widest two intervals that we use in this book, the 7th and the octave. Learners with little hands will be okay. 30 mins online live lesson

Learners should have completed Introduction to Piano Fundamentals, Piano Fundamentals 2 and 3, Intermediate Piano Course 1 and Intermediate Piano Course 2A
