< This is a intermediate level Korean class. This class requires over beginner level in Korean. Please check my beginner classes to see what we study in the beginner level classes. It'll be good to take this class, if you think you know about the topics I talk about in the 5 beginner Korean classes I offer. Please feel free to message me about the class, if you have any questions! I'd be happy to answer. The teacher provides summary slides of the class and recorded pronunciation video...
Learners will understand how to use prepositions and conjunctions in Korean. After this class, learners will be able to have intermediate level Korean conversations with vocabulary we're going to study in class.
I'm a native Korean speaker, a professional Korean language tutor and instructor for 7 years, and have a bachelor's degree. I'm fluent in both Korean and English. I received perfect scores in all Korean language tests including the Korean SAT. I worked in my college press, as well as in thesis correction for my department at my university. I lived in Korea for 28 years and moved to the US for my Ph.D. I have experience teaching Korean language to both Korean native students and non-native students, for more than 7 years now!
Each week, the teacher will give the learners a simple and optional homework, such as "Write how to explain where the theater is in Korean. Share it with the other students in the next class, if you are okay with it, but it's okay not to do it. It is optional." It's going to be a great practice to read, write, speak, and listen. I know that people have different ways to study, so I just suggest this homework but it's optional! I wouldn't mind it even if you don't want to share with other students or you don't do the homework. Everybody has a different way to study, and I'm just a guide on your way :)
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
