In this five-week course, students will work on French listening comprehension and speaking with some reading, and writing in French.
Class experience
The biggest push in the class will be listening comprehension and reading in French. The students will be listening to skits etc. and will be responding hopefully in as much French as possible to questions about the skit. The first week will be learning about monuments in Paris, reading a book and listening to a French skit. Week two we continue in our book and also have listening comprehension. Week three will review food vocabulary and we will study restaurants and how to order in a...
The goal would be to learn how to understand native speakers and be able to respond to them in French.
The teacher has taught French classes for elementary through adult students in public and private schools.
