In this five week course, students that have had at least one year of French can continue learning how to understand and read in this language!

1 hour per week. I will give them about 1/2 hour worth of homework for each class. They will not be required to do the homework, it will be to help them learn.Assessment

The emphasis of this class will be listening and reading in French. We will be reading the book "Merde, French is hard but Fun". Class one we will spend a few minutes learning about France Culture. We will then read our book for about 30 minutes. The teacher will read and then the students will read the book. We will then watch a video French Extra. The video will be in French. In week 2 we will continue on our French Extra series, learning new vocabulary as we go. In week three we will continue to read our book and discuss grammar. In week four we will learn a French song that is very popular, read our book and watch a French Game Show about finding someone lost in life. In week five we will finish our book, review what we have learned and each student will give a short presentation in French describing our book. I want the students to speak as much as they are able. The atmosphere will be laid back and comfortable.
Learning Goals
The students will learn how to understand French spoken language. We will also work on reading a book which is intermediate level French. It will include grammar. At the same time we will be learning about monuments and tourist attractions in Franc.

Parental Guidance
The book does have a few curse words in it. I will not go over them specifically. We use YouTube to listen to French Skits for learning comprehension. Parents do not need an account as it is a screen share.

We will find videos on YouTube. They will need the book" Merde, French is hard but Fun." It can be purchased on Amazon. It is the second book in the Trilogy.
