In this 4-week flex course students will learn the line dance steps to four different country songs.  These dances are an intermediate level and students should have some country line dance experience prior to signing up for this course.  Every Monday the teacher with post a video to the classroom that teaches the steps for that weeks song.    Throughout the remainder of the week students will be expected to participate in class discussions and also post videos of them practicing and learning their dance. This will help students get to know each other and have interaction with their classmates.  Some of the discussion questions will be get to know you type question (what's your favorite country music song?, what's your favorite style of dance) and other questions will pertain to the dance of the week (ex.  are there any other songs you think would work with this line dance?)  Students will also work together to help each other do various games/worksheet activities.   Again, this helps facilitate interaction amongst each other.

Week 2: Students will learn the line dance to American Kids by: Kenney Chesney
Week 3: Students will learn the line dance to Footloose by: Kenny Loggins
Week 4: Students will learn the line dance to Watermelon Crawl by: Tracy Byrd
