In this one-time class, students will make a Minecraft themed game with Scratch. Students will explore the possibilities with Scratch. Students must be familiar with Scratch. Experience is needed. This is not a beginner coding class.
Class experience
This class is best suited for students who have taken some intermediate courses with Scratch. Students must be familiar with Scratch. This class is intermediate. Students must have completed 6 projects with Scratch. This class is faster paced and has lots of code. ---------------------------- ****This class will not teach the basics of using Scratch nor is it a beginner coding class. ****** ---------------------------- This class is very interactive and focuses on project based learning....
2 files available upon enrollment- It is recommended for students to have two devices while taking this class. One for Zoom and the other for coding. (not required) - Students may use one device (computer or laptop) they will need to have two windows opened at the same time. - Students can use a tablet for Zoom but they will not be able to use it for Scratch - Chromebook and tablet users will not have access to Scratch 3.0 - During class we will use Scratch 3.0 (a user account is highly encouraged, but not required).
