💻To join the fun, you'll need a computer, mouse, keyboard, and a web browser open to Scratch. We recommend using two screens if possible: one to watch the instructor and one to work on your Scratch project. If not, a single screen will work fine. A tablet can be used for viewing the class, but a computer is necessary for using Scratch due to the need for a mouse and keyboard.

Parental Guidance
🚀 Getting Ready for Class: Parent Guidance Needed! Before the first class, parents are encouraged to assist their child with the following steps: Download the Scratch App: Get the app from https://scratch.mit.edu/download to ensure everything is set up properly. Check the Project Editor: Visit https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1051810736/editor to ensure the project editor is functioning smoothly. Create an Account: Register an account for your child so they can save and share their projects. (While students can create and edit projects without an account, they won't be able to share them. For this beginner lesson, an account is not mandatory as we will focus on independent projects each time.) These preparations will help your child have a seamless start and make the most of their coding adventure! 😊 🔒 Safety First: We highly recommend turning off the comment feature on Scratch when sharing projects to maintain a safe and focused learning environment. Thanks for your support in making this a smooth and enjoyable learning experience! 😊
