Interior Design: Weekly Challenge Club (Ongoing Friday Meetings)
What's included
1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hours per weekAssessment
Interior design is a form of art, therefore, I will be treating student work as art throughout the duration of this course. I will encourage students to practice the basic principles of interior design, but also encourage them to tailor their own personality and style to their work. By the end of each meeting, I want students to be proud of their designs.Class Experience
Can't get enough of interior design? Then this ongoing course is definitely for you! Students will meet weekly and be given a room-design challenge. (Example: Create a beach-style living room.) Learners will have 30 minutes to complete the digital challenge on a designing website app. Students will have the opportunity to share their design with their peers and receive positive feedback on their hard work. Come have fun designing with us! DISCLAIMER: Please make sure that you have taken my 4 day interior design course before enrolling in this ongoing course OR please message me first. Students are expected to know interior design basics and how to use the design website BEFORE taking this class. My lessons are student-centered. I am less of a lecturer, and prefer to engage students in discussion, hands-on learning, and interactive slides. I value my students' ideas and perspectives and strive to make learning meaningful to my students. You can expect me to be positive and encouraging as I guide your learner through this course.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of interior design basics and apply this understanding by planning and designing rooms.
