Beginner Level
In this one-time self-paced class, your learner will get an inside look at what an interior designer does for a living, who they work with, where they work & what skills/education is recommended for beginning in the industry. We go through a "day in the life" of an Interior Designer in a slideshow format. Also, I discuss the decisions a designer could make in the stages of building/furnishing a space & the different areas of interior design that are available to enter into. If your learner is exploring different career paths, this is a great class to ask questions and learn directly from a professional designer. What to expect: 🎥 One 30-minute lesson, video in a slide show format taught by Ms. Katie and a class outline provided. Entire course is in Outschool Classroom. No need to leave the platform while learning. 😃 Teacher feedback on all questions and comments within 72 hours in the first week of class. 📚 Self-Paced, 1:1 mentoring format w/no classmates. Enroll, selecting when you are ready to start & interact with the teacher for 1-week from that date. (Extensions for the teacher support available upon request.) Important Notes: 👨🎓 Class material level is designed for a mature middle schooler and high schooler. If you want a live version of this class, please book a 1:1 session with me during the school year and specify that you want this class taught. 🧐 There are no interior design projects or arts/crafts completed in this class. ❓ Questions, concerns? Message Ms. Katie anytime.
