40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time, 40-minute class, learners will get an inside look at what an Interior Designer does for a living, who they work with, where they work & what skills/education is recommended for beginning in the industry. We go through a "day in the life" of an Interior Designer in a slideshow format. Also, we discuss the decisions a designer needs to make in the stages of building/furnishing a space & the different areas of Interior Design that are available to enter into. If your learner is exploring different career paths, this is a great class to ask questions & learn directly from a professional designer. The class is a 30-minute visual slideshow presentation jammed packed with information & includes time for discussion & questions. About Ms. Katie: I am a professional designer, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design (Architectural, Interior, Landscape) as well as worked in the building industry for over a decade in California and Washington States.
