Class Experience
In this course, students will learn how to work with clients, working with a budget, and how to build a strong portfolio. Please note this class is intended to be the highest level out of all of my courses offered on interior design. While it is not required students take the other levels first, it is strongly encouraged. Taking this class without taking the others first might be difficult. Homework will be assigned after each class and is due before the following class. Homework time will range from student to student, but students should expect to spend between 30 minutes to an hour minimum on each homework assignment.
Students will need access to the internet in order to complete their homework.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learner progress will be assessed informally. I believe interior design is an art - so ultimately there are no "right" or "wrong" answers. However, I also believe students can learn greatly from myself and their peers. Therefore, students will have the chance to hear from myself and other students (if they choose to share their homework with the class) on how their designs could be improved.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
