Description
Class Experience
Students will learn basic principles used in creating interior design projects, including using a color wheel, space planning, creating a paper model, and selecting multiple pieces for a room.
I own and run an Interior Design Build company that focuses on complete design build projects, with a focus on great architectural and interior design. I have worked in the home design industry for 10 years in interior design, architectural design, home staging, real estate, and designing investment properties. I have worked with several students and interns, guiding them in enhancing their design talents and in learning more about the industry. I love helping students discover their love of design and guiding them in the steps it takes to become a great designer!
There is no homework.
paper (white printer paper, notebook paper, graph paper will all work) pencil or pen optional: markers or colored pencils, scissors, ruler (for drawing, cutting, and coloring in the floor plan challenge) optional: color wheel printout listed in classroom (if not printed out, students can use an online version) Access to Roomstyler.com.
