This interactive 8-week study skills course will teach fun and easy ways to learn better and remember what you are learning. We will explore how to study for tests; take notes; and learn new strategies for time management and organization.

Learner will be able to: • Discuss three study skills and explain how these skills can increase learning. • Set SMART goals to improve learning progress. • Share your favorite learning strategy with a classmate. • Make weekly and monthly calendars and to-do lists.
I have been trained in teaching study skills and have taught these skills to children from 5th grade to college. My bachelor's degree includes studies in psychology and life skills.
Homework Offered
Students should practice new study skills for at least half an hour between classes. Students will writing in a study skills journal every day. Students should practice for one hour before the last class. Student will have the opportunity to share a mini-lesson on a study skill to share with the class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed with a written narrative at the end of the class.Grades Offered
