In this Interactive Read Aloud, we will read There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow! (with permission by Scholastic). The Cold Lady swallows some unusual objects and in the end, when she hiccups, something unbelievable happens. Learners will listen to the story while the teacher uses cutouts to bring the story to life. There will be opportunities for learners to brainstorm and make inferences about what will come next in the story. After the story, there will be a brief discussion about the story. Learners will be able to color/ decorate in their own snowman picture while the teacher does hers virtually through screen share.
Learning Goals
Students will practice using inferencing and brainstorming skills.

-A coloring page will be provided for families to print out. Students may also use blank paper to draw on. -Crayons/Colored Pencils/Markers
