✏️ This ongoing art class is for those who love art and wish to advance their sketching, drawing, and shading skills while being creative. We will create a new work of art in each session so you may join in at any time and add to the schedule of themes based on what you are interested in learning. ✏️ Hone your skills by creating art consistently with repeated practice. I will guide you through techniques that will be relevant to what subject matter has been chosen for our weekly classes, which will be driven by the learner’s suggestions. ✏️ We will start off class with a quick chat about the theme of the week and allow you to share what you know or like about it. Creativity is encouraged as I demonstrate the steps to sketch, draw, shade, and/or add color throughout the session. Then what can you do to add your own personal touch? Give it character and begin developing your artistic style! We will spend the last few minutes of class spotlighting the artwork of anyone willing to share. Learner participation is encouraged but if you prefer not to it is not forced, I want you to come to a class where you feel comfortable expressing yourself.
