Class experience
In this course we will use a set of dice to 'Roll-A-Story' about a family's Thanksgiving dinner. A roll of the dice will determine character, setting, and problem. After the three rolls learners will be given a set amount of time to write that story, then we'll start over! I believe choice is vital in creating life-long writers. Learners will practice writing narrative texts with a predetermined character, setting, and problem. Learners will also practice flexible thinking when they switch stories.
