Use the promo code: MASSAV1YF410 for 10 dollars off your first class with me! Is this your first time using Outschool? Please read my profile 'About me' for a discount off your very first class :) In this beginners ESL course, students will learn a wide variety of topics, including animals, foods, jobs, colors, sports, and more, enriching their vocabulary and learning proper sentence structure. To do so, I will model a sentence and they will repeat after me. Colorful images, activities, songs and interactive games will be used during class time to engage students. I am highly adaptable, customizing each class to align with the unique skills and interests of the student. Whether your child is interested in Paw Patrol, Minecraft, Pokemon, Super Mario or any other popular children's cartoon - I've got you covered! I can make even the most reluctant learner have fun practicing their English and excited for class. My approach with young learners is very patient and kind. I emphasize positive reinforcement as much as possible and let the students know that their hard work is paying off. Throughout the class, students receive lots of praise—words like "Good work! You're doing great! Excellent job!"—to keep them motivated and confident in their progress. What topics will be covered in class? A rough outline of topics we may cover in class: Unit 1: My Classroom: Students will learn classroom vocabulary and simple sentences such as, "It is (a) chair/table/puppet/shelf/crayon/paper". Unit 5: My Lunch: Students will learn descriptive vocabulary about foods we eat for lunches and use sentences such as, "I have a/an apple, sandwich, carrot" and "I have (a) cookie, lemonade, milk". Unit 6: My Clothes: Students will practice vocabulary related to clothing items and use sentences like, "I want (a) skirt, sweater, pants, T-shirt, shoes, socks".
