This one-time lesson is an introduction to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, sometimes called a wonder of the medieval world. Students will learn the basic answer to who, what, where, when, why, and how regarding the tower. To make it a fun learning experience, it is structured as an escape room where students solve riddles, answer questions, put things in order, etc in order with interactive, digital material to understand the Leaning Tower of Pisa and collect letters to discover a secret quote....
This class is taught in English.
Students will gain introductory knowledge of who has been involved with the tower, where it is located, what material was used to build it and causes of its leaning, when it was begun, built, closed, and fixed, why it has been a struggle to fix, where it is located, and how it finally straightened. They should be able to summarize the information by the end of class.
