In this 4 session class, students will learn the fundamentals of Integers! Week 1: positive or negative? Let's discover integer key words! Let's find Integers on number lines! Weeks 2-3: Gains and Losses! Let's learn how to add and subtract integers using numberlines, integer chips and mental math! Week 4: Let's learn how to multiply and divide Integers! Week 5: Let's put it all together! The last session will focus on applications of Integers in word problems. We will focus on applying our previously learned vocabulary to highlight key words and phrases in the word problems. Classes will be a follow a format of: I do, we do, you do. Students will interact with visuals including numberlines, integer chips, and discussions. Students will practice the problems using a variety of games and activities, including quizlet live, kahoot and other interactive websites. I look forward to diving into the world of Integers with you!

I currently teach special education middle school math, science, social studies and social-emotional skills.
