In this one-time class, we will learn about the four instrument families and over 30 instruments. Using videos and pictures, students will experience the sights and sounds of dozens of different instruments!

Woodwind Family: flute, piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, bassoon

Brass Family: trumpet, bugle, flugelhorn, trombone, french horn, euphonium, tuba

String Family: violin, viola, cello, bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, harp

Percussion Family: snare drum, bass drum, marimba, cymbals, triangle, tambourine, gong, chimes, piano, maracas, timpani
