Class Description This is an inspirational ongoing course, with lessons based on the black history of women of color. Within the pages of American history, there are stories of remarkable African-American women. The stories of some of these women are found in every history book, while others are not so well known. In these classes, we tell stories of the courage, faith, and resolve of these extraordinary women. Through this course, we explore the lives of remarkable women - leaders,...
The objectives of each class are - 1. Educate the students about the black history of women of color 2. Inspire young girls of all colors 3. Discussion on how these women changed the world
A one-page handout will be given during class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
