In this one-time class, student will learn the basic fundamentals of marketing. Discussion will include marketing concepts, influencers, brand loyalty, and audience determination. Marketers are reaching us in every facet of our daily lives - whether we realize it or not. Students will be challenged to recognize and discuss how they are marketed to. Students will gain an understanding of marketing concepts and be able to recognize these concepts in real life applications.
I have an Associates of Science in Business Administrations, a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and am currently pursuing a Masters in Social Media Marketing.
Pen and paper. Students will be asked to think of their favorite brand (Xbox, Playstation, Starbucks, Nike, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to Facebook, Instagram, and major retailers during this class. Students do not need access to Facebook or Instagram.
