Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey there! Welcome to a space of growth, understanding, and empowerment.
As an experienced mental health professional and educator, my mission is simple yet profound: to guide students toward discovering their inner strength, resilience, and potential. Every class is an opportunity to equip learners with essential life skills that can extend far beyond the course I am teaching.
My Background:
With a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and over a decade of experience in mental health and psychology, I bring a unique, research-informed approach to education. My work is deeply rooted in developmental psychology and brain research, ensuring that every lesson is thoughtfully crafted to meet students exactly where they are in their personal journey.
What Drives Me:
I'm passionate about creating a supportive, nurturing environment where students can:
-Explore their emotional intelligence
-Develop robust coping strategies
-Build self-confidence
-Understand the fundamental principles of mental wellness
-Explore the field of psychology
A Glimpse into My World
When I'm not in the teaching or researching, you'll find me:
-Exploring new hikes and on a travel adventure
-Experimenting in the kitchen with new creative vegan recipes
-Trying out a new hobby (currently been in love with doing pottery)
My Philosophy
"Fill your own cup first" isn't just a saying—it's a life strategy. I believe that by understanding ourselves, nurturing our mental health, and developing strong emotional skills, we create a foundation for success in all areas of life.
I'm excited to embark on this transformative learning journey with you and your learner. Together, we'll unlock potential, build resilience, and create meaningful pathways to personal growth.
