Would you like to look inside an egg and see a duck embryo developing? When a farmer looks inside an egg it is called "candling an egg". This is where you shine a bright light on an egg to see what is inside. In this interactive class I will take one of our eggs out of the incubator and use our special egg candling equipment, including a special microscope, to look inside. This class will have two parts, in the first part I will explain what you are seeing and show you different parts, as well as provide you with some information about duck development and incubation generally. The second half of the will be an opportunity to ask questions and play a fun game. A booklet will be provided as part of the course.
