Class Experience

This ongoing course will cover various families and species of common and rare insect species. Each class meeting we will discuss 5 different insects and their common name, scientific name, identifying characteristics, and natural environments. Each class will have a title slide and a slide with common entomology terms to know for the course. These two slides will remain the same from week to week. Every week 5 slides will be shown each showcasing an insect species. More slides will be shown with supplemental photos for further visual examples. Students will be assessed by a 5 slide quiz with short answers in the chat feature. 3 photos of insects will be quizzed for common and species names, followed by 2 identification questions from material covered in class.
