Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this Incredible Insects class, learners will explore the fascinating world of insects! We will study different insects, learning about their characteristics, habitat, movement, and diet. We will see insects, look at pictures and videos, and engage in fun discussions to promote curiosity and a deeper understanding. Students will also be encouraged to create drawings of the insects they’ve learned about. This class is full of interactive learning, and imaginative play, designed to make science come alive for young minds.

Class Structure and Teaching Style:
My teaching style is energetic, enthusiastic, and full of fun! I incorporate a mix of discussion, movement, and hands-on activities to engage students and help them connect with the material. I will encourage students to share their thoughts and ideas, while also providing space for more reserved learners to participate at their own pace. The class will feature slides, videos, and real-life insect observations to support learning. My goal is to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning about the natural world, making sure every student feels included and excited to share what they’ve discovered.

Learning Goals

Students will have a beginning knowledge of different insects. They will be able to discuss insect facts such as where they live, how they move, and what they eat.
