Does your child love to play outside? Do they like making friends with creatures who have 6 or more legs? In this class students will get to share their love for insects and build on their knowledge. Each week we will learn about a few different creatures that can be commonly found in nature or your backyard, and their relatives around the world. Occasionally we will also have a "special guests" visit our class from a University entomology department. Most weeks will have an optional craft at...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Occasionally we will watch recorded footage of bugs from resources such as Brave Wilderness and Deep Look.
