Class Summary Future entomologists will get an in-depth look of insect anatomy in this 8-week series. As an entomologist, I love fostering the love of insects in students. Each session will include visuals from my microscope camera along with detailed descriptions of insect anatomy and the purpose of their adaptations. I graduated with my BS in Entomology from Michigan State University in 2013. I have been teaching Elementary - High School level classes for almost 10 years. I have taught in-class seminars for a variety of college classes including at Kalamazoo College and Michigan State. I have also taught specialty insect illustration classes at a variety of schools in the Philadelphia region and in northern Michigan. Students who take this insect anatomy class will be gaining entomological knowledge and learning vocabulary that I did not see until my graduate level college classes.
