Intermediate Level
Students will significantly improve their formal writing skills by writing about a topic of their choice and by planning their writing, by learning how to write using formal language, and by enhancing their grammar and mechanics writing skills. Students will create an outline of their essay that they will use to write their initial draft. Upon receiving the draft, the teacher will read every word, phrase, sentence, and paragraph to provide high quality feedback that promotes learning, memory, and increased control of writing skills. Students will then use all feedback to submit a polished, final draft.

Informational Essay Overview and Outline Assignment
Students will gain an understanding of the essay and will submit an outline. 1 assignment
Lesson 2:
Essay Draft
Students will use their outline to submit their THREE FULL page draft. 1 assignment
Lesson 3:
Essay Final Draft
Students will use instructor feedback to make meaningful changes to their draft. 1 assignment
