In this class, I will teach students some basics of Information Technology (IT). There is not any outside material required to participate. Topics include the definition of IT, the history, present state, and future, like in the use of holograms. I’ll discuss hardware, software, and basic coding. I have a Master of Science in IT. The topic of my thesis was Intellectual Property Online. My Ph.D. Dissertation topic was in Health Technology- using the WWW for Health Matters. In my research, I discovered what qualities make a website truly useful. I have written several academic essays on information technology, its role in the organization, and its future possibility.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
