Students will be asked to draw a character from the class read aloud. This will be drawn by making an inference. Students will use text evidence and schema (background knowledge). As a class, we will also discuss the meaning of dialogue and students will be encouraged to identify different types of dialogue tags used in the story, "I Need A Monster," by Amanda Noll.
