Class 1: Class will begin with a review of Single-Step, Two-Step and Multi-Step Equations. Inequalities and their Symbols will be explained, and how they differ from Equations. Students will learn to Write and Graph Inequalities and learn to check Solution Sets. Class 2: Class will begin with a review of basic knowledge of Inequalities from Class 1. Students will then learn to solve Single-Step Inequalities, using the Properties of Inequalities for Addition and Subtraction. After solving,...
Students will learn how to solve, graph and check solution sets (answers) for Single-Step and Multi-Step Inequalities, Case 1 and Case 2.
This course is offered to assist students in mastering Inequalities, a topic often not part of a students curriculum, but essential to math concept growth.
There will be worksheets available to assist in mastery.
Students need to have pencils/pens and paper to do homework. A simple calculator is optional.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Upon request, a final quiz may be taken and submitted.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
