Description

Class Experience

In this class, the learner will work one-on-one with me to strengthen skills that need improvement.  I can help with writing, reading, and grammar.  We will start with a bit of student work, so I can see the skill level.  We will start by noting the positives in the learner's reading or writing, emphasizing those accomplishments and expanding upon them.  Retention of learning is our ultimate goal, so that the skills learned in tutoring are easily applied later.  I will be using pertinent...

I have been tutoring students in reading, grammar, and writing for 25 years.

Students will need paper, a pen or pencil, and colored pens, pencils, or crayons for this class.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
