Children will learn the necessary skills in reading, writing/and any phonics and grammar related material. I will tutor your child in whatever subject area they need, English, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc.  This could be through identification of letter sounds, sight words, CVC words, or more advanced such as grammar concept, sentence structure, sentence and essay writing. Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication/Division, Fractions, etc. As your learner progresses, we will be adding more learning opportunities and building on what we have learned.  Never stop learning and never stop growing. :-)

I am a certified teacher with over 15 years of experience. I have taught Pre-K-12th grade, college level, English/Writing/Journalism/Math/Science,  in both a traditional public school setting  and virtually.  Through my love of learning and teaching combined with my patience and understanding, I will tailor the learning needs of your child to develop the most efficient and appropriate method of learning.  Every child learns differently and at a different pace.  So let's work together to build the confidence and skills needed to develop your child into the best reader, writer, and learner possible. :-)  Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of confidence to make a world of difference.  This is a fun class and my goal is to have your child smiling and full of pride of what was accomplished. :-)  

Homework Offered
I will be providing worksheets after each lesson to reinforce what we learned that day.  Learners will be able to practice what they have learned and will be able to expand their knowledge.  Through repetition, your child will gain the skills needed to become a confident and fluent learner. 
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each learner is assessed individually.  We will go at your child's pace.  I will be sending updates to let you know how your child is doing and to share what we have been working on.  
Grades Offered

Learners will not need to access any other sources other than the Outschool tools.
