Description

Class Experience

During this ongoing individualized class, the teacher will work with the student to provide a strong piano background based on their current level.  Piano is about forming confidence and excitement about music!  My teaching style is very relaxed and encouraging.

Students will learn and work on note-reading, fingering, multiple hand positions, music theory, and playing several piano pieces per week.

I believe a lot in student “choice” and encourage my students to supplement their piano book...

The student will learn to play the piano or continue their piano journey from whatever level they start with.

The student will be required to practice outside of class, approximately 30-60 minutes per week.

See class description for books needed.  The teacher will assess the student’s current piano level first before any books are purchased.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
