During our tutoring session, students with Autism and other unique learning and/or sensory needs will receive neuro-affirming support and guidance to improve executive functioning and build on strengths and special interests to reach goals.
Class experience
This class is great for students who are adjusting to online learning, students on an IEP, or students who need extra support with organization, executive functioning, self-determination, and goal setting. Each class will be individualized for the learner's needs. We will review assignments, homework, projects, and other obligations. I have several years of experience as a classroom teacher for students with Autism and other special needs. I have provided transition services and planning as a part of my role as a teacher. I have taught self-determination and social skills lessons related to academic success.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
