Teacher expertise and credentials
I'm very excited to be teaching with Outschool! I teach classes in arts and crafts, math, reading, writing, and foreign languages and cultures for kids and teens. I am also excited to teach courses for young children that center around building literacy, math, and social and emotional skills through art and song.

I graduated from Haverford College with a major in Political Science and minors in Educational Studies and Spanish in 2018. This fall, I will be attending graduate school at Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have taught and tutored kids of all ages in a variety of settings, from working full time as a tutor, mentor and after school club leader in a Philadelphia public school to teaching English abroad in China!

I love to travel and learn about foreign cultures! I have been lucky to get the chance to live abroad in France, Spain, Ecuador, and China and travel to dozens more countries. Making art has been another passion of mine for as long as I can remember! I love to be creative and was able to further develop my art skills in college where I took exciting classes like printmaking and sculpture.

As a teacher, I am patient, empathetic, and kind. I know that learners are all unique, and I work to adapt my classes to the needs of my students. I also love to be creative when planning classes! I believe that hands-on projects, games, songs, and discussions make classes more fun and engaging.

I hope that we can learn together soon!
