Individual Tutoring (Reading and Literacy Skills- 5 session package)

I will create personalized reading and literacy instruction that will focus on the skills and standards requested by the parent and learner. Each lesson will be taught at the learner's pace and level.  This tutoring package includes 5 days of instruction in which students meet 2x per week for 30 minutes each time. This may be renewed by the parent, if requested.  Students will be given a digital tutoring notebook (using Google Slides). Students will need a Gmail account to access the notebook. A link to this notebook will be posted in the Outschool Classroom. All assignments and information will be shared in this notebook throughout the tutoring session. This will allow for more interactive lessons. If possible, please use a computer, rather than a tablet or phone when meeting for tutoring. 

Tutoring topics that can be requested by parents or learners: 
reading, phonics, writing, fluency 
Any of my posted courses may also be taught individually during tutoring sessions.

Sample Daily Tutoring Schedule:
1. Read and discuss nonfiction articles.
2. Identify unknown vocabulary.
3. Identify main ideas.
4. Color code text evidence and answer text based questions.
5. Extend learning of text through writing about it.
